We understand you have a lot of option for pork, and even several brands of Berkshire pork. However, not all Berkshire pork is better. Registered Berkshire Pork only comes from pedigreed Berkshire pigs who are registered with the American Berkshire Association.

How do you know if the pigs are registered? 

Like our pork, our registered Berkshire pigs have specific standards: 

  • Ear notches for identification and pedigree tracking

  • Majority black body with occasional small white patches of hair 

  • Simply ask for the pedigree! Each pig registered with the ABA receives an official pedigree that lists of the genetic heritage.
